Dear former student,
We are gathering information about former students of the school to create a database of destinations and chosen careers of our Alumni, Old Paludian’s Association.
There have been significant changes and events since you left the school. Former Principal Margaret Lenton retired in 2010 and we were pleased to welcome a new leader of the school, Mrs Mercedes Hernández Estrada, who worked tirelessly to build on past successes and take the school from strength to strength. Since the expansion of the Trust, of which UCGS was a founding member, Mrs Hernández Estrada has become CEO, while Mr Mark Pritchard has taken over as Head of School. For those of you who were at the school with Mr Painter has Headmaster, you will be saddened to hear that he passed away in 2018.
In 2012, the school celebrated its centenary, and subsequently changed its name from Slough Grammar School to Upton Court Grammar School accompanied by a new logo depicting the mythical Phoenix. The school has also benefitted with significant building development, including a new multi-million pound sixth form centre, restaurant and three storey block. A new sports facility will be completed by 2019.
We are very proud of our students and former students, and are always happy to hear about their successes. Therefore, we are building a database of information about our Alumni so that you can be kept up to date with significant events in the school.
We would be grateful if you could complete and submit the form - click here, which will allow us to have up to date records of the location and professions of former students.3
Finally, we are always delighted to welcome former students into the school. In particular, we invite you to visit the school and address our current students as they would undoubtedly find your presentations inspirational.
