    In Year 7 students explore the fascinating worlds of Roman Life and Medieval England. Knights, castles, war, and plague feature in a curriculum that emphasises concepts of power, control, and religion. Year 8 focuses on innovations in technology (Industrial Revolution) and the Slave Trade. Students also examine the rise and consolidation of the British Empire. The course ends with an in-depth look at the Civil Rights Movement in the United States, with an emphasis on the leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
