In April 2014, a team of registered inspectors conducted a two day full review of Upton Court Grammar School following the Ofsted framework for inspection of schools. In each of the four areas of inspection, namely Achievement of Pupils, Quality of Teaching, Behaviour and Safety of Pupils and Leadership and Management, the school was judged as Outstanding.
Therefore, the overall effectiveness of the school was judged to be Outstanding.
Upton Court Grammar School Principal Mercedes Hernandez Estrada said “The school was ready for an inspection. When staff and children were told the day before the feeling was one of excitement. The school proudly shared with inspectors the achievements of the students and the expertise of staff. The rating of "Outstanding" and the inspector's praise are well deserved."
