Students at Upton Court Grammar School participated in summer school learning weeks, engaging in a range of activities developing key skills such as leadership, team building and problem solving. Examples include the 'Hub Challenge' where students engaged in extreme physical challenges, archery and bushcraft (such as building shelters, fire building and water purification) as well as orienteering.
The school is committed to continuing to develop students outside term time, and summer school provides an ideal opportunity to do so which our parents appreciate.
Opportunities are also extended to primary school children from some local schools who also attended the 'Upton Court Grammar Summer Primary School' this week.
Upton Court Grammar School Principal Mercedes Hernandez Estrada said "This is another example of our commitment to learning in the widest sense, linking it to real life, even outside of term time'.
